கருப்பன் தனது பெயருக்கு ஏற்றார்போல் வாழ்ந்தான், அடிக்கடி அமைதியாக எங்கிருந்தோ தோன்றி தலையை தேய்ப்பான். அவனுக்கு உரத்த குரலும் மென்மையான முடியும் இருந்தது. அவனது அமைதியான இருப்பு ஆழ்ந்த வருத்தத்தை அளிக்கிறது. அவன் இல்லாமல் எங்கள் மടി காலியாக உணர்கிறது.
